Description

It's a jungle out there for developers using the Windows Installer service (MSI) technology. New concepts related to project organization contain many hidden pitfalls that can trap newcomers and experienced developers alike, jeopardizing installations. This seminar will help you tame the MSI installation jungle and avoid some of these pitfalls.

Receive over 4 hours of in-depth training at your desk at a time that is convenient for you. You will be provided a total of 8 hours to complete the presentation at your own pace. This allows four additional hours for review, pausing and playback, if needed. Participants will be provided free access to a dedicated InstallShield Community, where InstallShield (MSI) experts will answer questions relevant to the seminar content. Available in English language only.

Prerequisites:

• A working knowledge of the InstallShield X, DevStudio, or Developer IDE and wizards
• A basic understanding of Windows Installer (Basic MSI) package structure
• A basic familiarity with the run-time behavior of the Windows Installer service is a plus
