InstallShield is available in these editions:

• The InstallShield Express Edition is the quickest and easiest solution for creating reliable Windows Installer (MSI) and mobile device installations.
• The Professional Edition gives developers complete control over the installation experience. It includes the full InstallScript functionality, dialog editor and a Certified for Windows Vista validation suite.
• The Premier Edition builds on the power and flexibility of the Professional Edition. Exclusive features in the Premier edition include a best practices validation suite, support for multilingual setups, a Repackager, additional licenses for stand alone build machines and more. Language support for Arabic and Hebrew is only available in the Premier edition.
• The Premier and Professional editions are also available with Virtualization Pack which includes a wizard to create virtualized applications for Microsoft App-V.
• InstallShield is available with Gold, Silver or Bronze Maintenance. All maintenance contracts include 12 months of product upgrades and technical support.
• Additional licenses of the Stand-Alone Build engine are available separately.
• Concurrent licenses are available as an alternative to the node-locked licensing model.

Registration and Activation Required! Before you can use this product you must register using the form at http://shop.flexerasoftware.com/registration/serials.aspx and then and activate the software by entering the serial number. For InstallShield, activation must be repeated yearly. If the computer is connected to the internet this will happen automatiucally. More information about Product Activation (PDF).
Usage monitoring and auditing: The manufacturer may monitor usage of the software for statistics and to verify compliance with the EULA. Flexera Software may also request an audit. Please see the EULA for details.
